A: Vibration analysis is a non destructive testing method using the measurment of amount of vibration to diagnoise machinery faults through the analysis of the vibrations.

The effects of temperature, pressure, distortion and other environmental influences can be incorporated and the vibration can be adjusted for resonance or natural frequencies vs. published balance tolerances used in a balancing machine. The unbalance may have to be adjusted to abnormally fine levels to minimize the resultant resonant structural vibration.
